I like this video by Paul Eugene because he demonstrates some fun choreography and he does it VERY clearly.  He has obviously spent time practicing the ques for these movements before he tried to teach them here.

He is also stepping on beat 1.  Notice the clap on beat 8 - signifying the beginning of a new 8 count.  One more thing about timing - not only is he stepping on the correct beat, but he starts a new combination in conjunction with a change in the music (at the beginning of a new musical phrase.  Love it!
