I'm not good at being injured. It's so hard for me to rest the injured part. Last month I injured my elbow joint, and I finally went to see my favorite physical therapist who is insisting that I completely rest it until we can get it healed. Why is "complete rest" so foul sounding to me?? I can rest for a week, but after that my mind starts to go nuts. Early this year I fell skiing and dislocated the capitate bone in my wrist. Again, I had to completely rest my wrist for months. It was awful! I couldn't wait to lift weights again! I'm hoping this injury won't take as long to heal, but until it does....I'll be good and rest it!
