I injured myself on Mother's Day - I was vacuuming our pool and I slipped. My right knee went straight down on concrete. It didn't hurt at first, but there was such a large area missing skin that I couldn't bend my knee for 2 weeks. When I finally got some mobility back I noticed how much pain I had when I bent my knee. So I have been taking it easy for 3 weeks now.
I just got back to the gym after my 3 weeks off an man can I feel it. It is truly amazing how much strength and flexibility you lose after being off for a while. I feel as out of shape as I ever have in my whole life.
I am also very excited to tell you that I have an article coming out in a national magazine next month. My article 'Standardizing Your Fitness Schedule' was due last Friday.
